By using Borrl you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use the app.
Who can use Borrl
Borrl is for adults. You must be old enough to drink legally where you live — 18 in the Netherlands — and you must be able to enter a contract. One account per person, and you are responsible for what happens under it, so keep your password to yourself.
Your content stays yours
You keep ownership of the photos and text you post. You give us only the permission we need to run the service: to store your content, and to show it to the people you have chosen to share it with. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
What is not allowed
- Harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, or targeting anyone.
- Sexual content, nudity, or anything illegal.
- Posting photos of people who have not agreed to be posted, or tagging people to harass them.
- Encouraging dangerous drinking, drinking games built around volume, or pressuring anyone to keep drinking.
- Anything involving people under the legal drinking age.
- Impersonating someone else, spam, scams, or scraping the service.
Moderation
You can report any night, comment, or account from inside the app, and you can block anyone — blocking works in both directions, so neither of you sees the other. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. Serious or repeated breaches mean losing the account. If you think we got it wrong, email info@borrl.app.
Drink responsibly
Borrl records what you drank; it does not encourage you to drink more. Nothing in the app is a competition, and we do not rank anyone against anyone. Please look after yourself and the people you are out with.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account, which removes your content along with it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
The service as it is
Borrl is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it running and your content safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. Keep your own copies of photos that matter to you. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
Law and contact
